Come and enjoy the Yorkshire Dales, retreat to this beautiful place I call home.
Escape the everyday, reconnect with nature and breathe.
I will share with you my love for the Dales as we walk, wander and discover this wild yet gentle landscape.
This is home, I was born here and raised on a small hill farm, very much a daughter of the Dales.
I know the area intimately and have loved every inch of her natural quiet beauty for sixty years.
We will ramble the limestone pavements, blow over bleak fell sides and pause in heather purpled slopes.
Enjoy slowing down, take a paddle or swim in the cool rivers and waterfalls.
We will have days out to explore my favourite villages as we travel in Gods own Country.
I will welcome you at my hill farm one morning, to meet the sheep and take tea and scones in the farmhouse.
Our base is the luxurious Corner of Eden. This is the most beautiful retreat where we can gaze across green fields across too distant fell tops. The only sounds you can hear is the bleat of sheep, birds singing or the sound of wind in the trees. Each evening we will have fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food prepared for us by our chef with plenty time to relax in the most wonderful location.

A non refundable deposit of £800.00 is required to secure your room and place on this adventure with the full deposit being due no less that 12 calendar weeks before the start of the holiday.
In the event that Shepherdess has to cancel your holiday, then you will receive your deposit or total payment in full.
Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Scarista House Isle of Harris.
Guests are responsible for their own holiday insurance.
All drinks and extras must be paid for by guests separately before checking out of the hotel.
Please bring outdoor clothing, a waterproof and stout boots for beach and headland walks, a warm jumper and a hat as the hebrides can be windy even on a summers day.
If you require any special assistance or have any special physical or dietary needs, please let me know prior to the holiday.
