Hebridean Dreams
Come along and share my Hebridean adventure. Together we will discover the secrets of Harris, visit her crofts, walk the land and discover the cloth. I have been travelling to Harris for over twenty years, visiting friends, working as a guide, and spending time with many of the islanders and weavers whom are the heartbeat of this stunningly beautiful place. I wish to share the magic with you of both seascape and landscape. We will follow the wool to weaver tale of Harris Tweed and see why this iconic cloth is one of the most treasured fabrics in the world. I will take you on an escape as we wander across the island immersed in nature and culture whilst allowing our minds to clear and breathe it all in. We will walk on wild headlands, ramble the white sand beaches, go barefoot, and blow with the winds. Together we will go off the beaten track and enjoy the feeling of salt and free. Our only task is to take time to slow down, relax, recharge and savour every moment of this wilder blue yonder.
Our base is the luxurious Scarista House where we will be spoilt with sea views, great food and glorious comforting accommodation.

Hannah
Hannah has a kingsize double bed, a large ensuite bathroom and has south facing views over the garden to the church with the beach and the sea beyond.
Elsa
Elsa is a twin room next to Hannah with the same lovely views. The bathroom window looks north to Taransay and the hills of North Harris in the distance.
Lily
Lily is at the south end of Glebe House. From the super-kingsize bed you can enjoy uninterrupted views over to the sea. It has a little sitting room with full length windows to take advantage of the lovely views. There is a small double sofa bed in the sitting room.
Lucy
Lucy, which is next to Lily, has twin beds which can be joined to make a super-kingsize double. It also has its own little sitting room (with sofa bed) with the same lovely views as from Lily.
Flora
Flora is the largest suite, also with lovely views, making it ideally suited for families. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and a single bed. The large sitting room has a double sofa bed. Off the sitting room is a fully-equipped galley kitchen.
A non refundable deposit of £800.00 is required to secure your room and place on this adventure with the full deposit being due no less that 12 calendar weeks before the start of the holiday.
In the event that Shepherdess has to cancel your holiday, then you will receive your deposit or total payment in full.
Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Scarista House Isle of Harris.
Guests are responsible for their own holiday insurance.
All drinks and extras must be paid for by guests separately before checking out of the hotel.
Please bring outdoor clothing, a waterproof and stout boots for beach and headland walks, a warm jumper and a hat as the hebrides can be windy even on a summers day.
